1. Data controller
Muhammad Aamir Jamal, operator of Junior Trader Academy in Pakistan, determines how Academy student data is used. Questions or requests can be submitted through Student Support.
2. Information we collect
- Account data: name, email address, authentication identifiers, and account status.
- Learning data: enrollments, lesson completion, quiz scores, assessment attempts, and certificates.
- Payment data: selected package, method, amount, transaction reference, receipt image, verification status, and dates. We do not request card numbers, PINs, OTPs, or banking passwords.
- Support data: messages and screenshots you choose to submit.
- Technical data: security logs, device/browser information, IP address, essential cookies, and consent choices.
3. Why we use it
We use data to create and secure accounts, deliver purchased courses, save progress, verify payments, issue certificates, provide support, prevent fraud, maintain records, meet legal obligations, and improve the service. Optional analytics or marketing cookies will be used only after consent where required.
4. Service providers and international processing
We use trusted providers for authentication, database hosting, website hosting, email delivery, analytics, and payments. They process data under their own security and contractual obligations. Some processing may occur outside Pakistan; we will use reasonable safeguards and disclose material providers as the service is finalized.
5. Retention
We retain account and learning records while the account is active and as reasonably needed for certificates, support, fraud prevention, accounting, disputes, and legal duties. Unneeded receipt files and support attachments will be deleted or anonymized on a defined schedule. Verified certificate details may remain available for public verification until revoked or deletion is lawfully required.
6. Security
We use access controls, encrypted connections, password hashing through our authentication provider, restricted administrative roles, and row-level database protections. No internet service is completely risk-free; students should use a unique password and never disclose OTPs or login credentials.
7. Your choices and requests
You may ask to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, object to non-essential marketing, or withdraw cookie consent. Some records may be retained where required for payment, tax, fraud, certificate integrity, or legal claims. We will verify identity before fulfilling sensitive requests.
8. Children
The Academy is designed primarily for adults. A student under 18 must use it with verified parental or guardian consent. We do not knowingly seek unnecessary data from children.
9. Changes
We will show the effective date and provide reasonable notice of material privacy changes.
